Robert “Bob” Berg of Waukesha passed away on Thursday, January 19, 2023. Bob was born in Menomonie, Wisconsin, in 1936.

He attended community schools in Menomonie and graduated from Menomonie Significant College, in which he participated in both soccer and basketball. On his graduation from significant college, he attended and graduated from the College of Wisconsin-Stout. Following graduation from Stout, Bob begun his instructing profession at Muskego High Faculty in 1959. Bob taught vehicle mechanics and drivers’ schooling at Muskego Higher University until eventually his retirement in the 1996. He guided many of his learners to condition championships in examining and fixing automotive problems in the Countrywide Automotive Technology Opposition.

When educating at Muskego Substantial University he fulfilled property ec teacher Boni Standaert, who was the love of his lifestyle. Boni and Bob were being married in 1965 and celebrated their 50th marriage anniversary in 2015. As a present for Boni’s 70th birthday, Bob offered Boni with Button, her sidekick and loving puppy.

Boni and Bob relished many decades of enjoyable travel to areas these types of as Hawaii, Europe, adhering to the Inexperienced Bay Packers and attending College of Wisconsin soccer game titles at Camp Randall. Bob was also the set-up person and the take down man for Boni’s kiosk as they expended several weekends at craft demonstrates providing Boni’s beautifully made and produced clothing posts.

Bob and Boni have been avid golfers. Upon their retirement, Bob and Boni put in wintertime months at their house in Sebring, Florida. In addition to their golfing, Bob and Boni designed and managed numerous expensive friendships even though in Sebring, Fla., together with his close boyhood pal from Menomonie, David Kamish, and David’s wife Beth. Bob was a constitution member of the enjoyable golfing team, the Professionally Retired Golfers’ Tour.

Bob is survived by his spouse of 57 years, Bonita his sister Mary (Roger) Duchow his sisters-in-regulation Sally Dedrickson and Leilani Standaert (Ward Anderson) his brothers-in-legislation Eugene Standaert, Randall (Sunny) Standaert and Robin (Laura) Standaert many nieces and nephews and loving canine Button.

Bob was preceded in death by his brother Richard Berg and his moms and dads Dagny and Richard Berg sisters-in-regulation Elaine Berg and Alberta Standaert and brothers-in-legislation Stephen Dedrickson and Jeffrey Standaert.

Non-public entombment will be held at St. Joseph Cemetery.  A celebration of Bob’s lifetime will manifest at a later date.
